For those who like their water activities a bit more adventurous than taking a dip in the hotel pool, the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa in Dubai now offer guests Watercooled, the only 5 star water sports centre in the world. Scott Ladyman, Chief instructor at the centre commented on their unique offering.

What’s your most popular sport?
Our most popular activity would have to be wakeboarding and wake surfing in Dubai. Any activity that takes place on our powerful Mastercraft X2 in Dubai is instantly one that you will remember. Other popular activities include cruising around our bay in one of our sparkling new RS sailing dinghies or taking a boat ride along the coastline of Dubai seeing the Burj al Arab and the Palm Jumeirah in all their beauty from the comfort of our powerboat. What do you enjoy most about your job?
I think I can speak for the whole of our fantastic team when I say that I am ‘living the dream’! All the Watercooled staff are handpicked and are highly experienced and passionate about water sports. Continuous training means that we are qualified to teach at the highest level, to international standards. All this experience and knowledge in the Watercooled team gives us the ability to complete our daily jobs to the highest standards possible, all whilst doing something that we love.
In order to remain one of Dubai’s premier resorts, The Jebel Ali, Golf Resort and Spa resort is currently undergoing a refurbishment including extensions to the White Orchid and La Fontana restaurants, upgrade to the spa lobby, improvements to the Anchor Beach Bar and the building of an additional swimming pool. Works will be completed by the end of September and there will be a re-launch on 1st October 2012.
