A Dubai based conglomerate (Al Habtoor Group) plans to build the world’s largest hotel in Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road. Reports suggest that it will be around 25% bigger with regards to the number of rooms than the Atlantis hotel located at Palm Jumeirah.
The hotel in Dubai will add over 2,000 rooms and suites to Dubai’s increasing supply of rooms while Atlantis houses nearly 1,539 rooms.
It is rumoured that the group might go it alone and not seek any partnerships to finance the UAE’s biggest hotel.
